About me
My passion for yoga took a significant turn during my studies in BSc Psychology in the UK, leading me to travel to India for a yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh, known as the yoga capital. This experience deeply immersed me in the local culture and ignited my interest in the history and philosophy of yoga.
I left India with a newfound appreciation for yoga rich tradition including Bhakti yoga and its array of texts and teachings. The exploration of different yogic practices, including meditation and yoga nidra, opened my eyes to the depths of the human mind. I learned how these practices could ease stress and bring relaxation to our busy lives. This understanding was further enhanced by my years of studying various alternative healing modalities.
It was through the exploration of different yogic methods, together with years of studying alternative healing modalities, that I developed my own approach: a mindful practice that creatively combines elements of different styles for a healing and transformative experience to understand our mental and emotional well-being.
By incorporating the philosophical foundation of yoga with physical practices, I help individuals achieve a balanced state of mind, enhancing their capacity to navigate life's challenges more effectively. My training and experience in diverse yogic and psychological methods equip me to offer a holistic therapeutic experience that supports personal growth and stress reduction.
May we walk the path of self-realisation with grace knowing that only through inner awakening consciousness do we find true freedom. All else fades, but the light within endures.
Hare Krishna.
